Much like other startups, we did not have a budget or a solid following, so our greatest challenge was persuading investors and our flagship celebrity ambassadors that we were pursuing a viable opportunity.

As a founder of this bootstrap enterprise, I managed this project from ideation through development, launch, and discontinuance. My primary contributions included conducting market and user research, designing branded marketing collateral, and producing effective presentations for stakeholders.
Exceeding Your Expectations
I was the Co-Founder and Chief of Marketing for this startup project and with a very limited budget, I worked across all functional business areas. My main priority, however, was conducting primary marketing research, developing business collateral i.e. plan, pitch decks, and proposals, and serving as the liaison between our team and the organization's investors and stakeholders.
To inform our persuasive documents and satisfy our strategic objective, I did the following:
Collected primary and secondary insights about our targeted user types, needs, preferences, and attitudes by creating questionnaires on Survey Monkey and using learning from Market Line Reports;
Created comprehensive visual and electronic presentations for various stakeholders;
Collaborated with our lead designer to create low fidelity sketches to outline user journeys on the landing page and mobile app prototype;
Used whiteboards and card sorting exercises with volunteer participants to inform the Landing Page’s information architecture.
The primary research conducted and the electronic presentations I composed helped to inform the business plan and pitch deck that later secured seed funding, pledges, and a white-label licensing deal with an Israeli Ed-tech startup. A change in leadership and strategic vision drove the decision to discontinue this effort.
